GIS at light speed

b-Spatial Mapper

The Mapper provides a feature rich GIS desktop application for combining all your GIS data in one place. You can view GIS data from a large number of supported formats, create multiple annotation layers, and print them to PDF or export them to Google Earth. You can easily add in your own customised symbols based on SVG, or use an image icon. You can create your own cartographic templates for PDF output with auto-generated legends, logos, north-arrows and bar-scales.

With the Mapper it is very easy to combine all your GIS data in the one application. With a powerful layer properties form, you can easily assign your symbology, based on attribute data, or data held in an external database. The layer can be linked to any number of external database tables, and these can be used to symbolise, label or create custom queries for selection and retrieval of data. The queries can be setup to contain a link field for firing off an external application based on one of the retrieved attributes. This allows a quick and easy way of linking your GIS data with other systems. The link can be a pointer to a document, a hyperlink, an image etc.

You can also setup attachments, which allow you to link to various files. The software will pre-build the attachments based on the information provided and then show a clickable map symbol for firing off the attribute link. This can be useful for showing what properties have drainage plans, pictures of your assets etc.
