GIS at light speed

b-Spatial has a range of software products to suit your GIS requirements. The b-Spatial Mapper desktop can be run as a stand-alone GIS package, or combined with the b-Spatial Hub to publish your data across the organisation. We have b-Spatial Web to provide browser based GIS access either internally across an Intranet or for external web access. Check out our products below to see which one best suites your needs.

b-Spatial Mapper

The Mapper provides a feature rich GIS desktop application for combining all your GIS data in one place. You can view GIS data from a large number of supported formats, create multiple annotation layers, and print them to PDF or export them to Google Earth. You can easily add in your own customised symbols based on SVG, or use an image files such as .bmp, .png, jpeg etc for map symbology. You can create your own cartographic templates for PDF output with auto-generated legends, logos, north-arrows and bar-scales.

print_preview

You can link your layers to any ODBC compliant database and create value and range based symbology using the information held within the external database. The query manager provides a fully featured query editor to create customised queries using combinations of spatial and external database attributes. Using the Hub, you can make these queries available for everyone.

b-Spatial Hub

The Hub provides a central GIS data publishing tool, to make your GIS data available across your organisation. The administrator can quickly create and modify Datasets, and with one click publishing, make them available to everyone at the push of a button. The Hub supports multiple processing engines to ensure your data requests are returned quickly no matter the number of connected users. Utilising OpenGL, your GIS data can be cached in the Graphics Card memory for instantaneous processing, or volatile data can be set up to be read from source for every request meaning everyone has live access to changes as they happen.

Hub

The Hub caching mechanism provides plenty of options when it comes to configuring your data access. The Hub can be set-up with three caching times to provide for automatic scheduling of layer caching. Layers can be set up to be served direct (no caching), server cached (server holds cache data in memory) or copy to client (cache files are transferred to client for local access).

b-Spatial Web

b-Spatial Web is a light-weight html/css/javascript web front-end for GIS data. Using the Hub as the backend, it serves up all your GIS data either Intranet or Internet wide. With a number of customisable options, and with CSS based styling, it is trivial to integrate into your corporate look and feel. Check back in a week or so when we will have a live demo site available for you to test.
